Meet Dr. Christina Kulesa
Dr. Christina Kulesa opened the doors to Northstar Family Dental in 2010. Inspired by the negative stigma that is often associated with a trip to the dentist, she has built the practice around the philosophy that oral health and cosmetic dentistry can be maintained in a comfortable, relaxing, even enjoyable environment.
Born and raised in Northeastern Ohio, Dr. Kulesa received her undergraduate degree in natural sciences from Xavier University and went on to graduate top of her class from Case School of Dental Medicine, where she earned a Doctorate in Dental Surgery.
After graduating in 2005, Dr. Kulesa put her plan into action to provide the highest quality service and care in a state of the art facility, making a trip to the dentist feel more like a visit to the spa.
She has devoted her professional career to all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry, and enjoys treating every member of a family, from children to grandparents. To keep abreast of the latest developments in dentistry, she exceeds the continuing education requirements of the profession. In order to better serve her patients, she completed an extensive sedation training program to become certified by the Ohio State Dental Board to perform both Oral and IV Sedation in her office.
Dr. Kulesa is a member of the American Dental Association , Ohio Dental Association, Columbus Dental Association, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is an Invisalign Preferred Provider. Additionally, Dr. Kulesa is an annual speaker on the Ohio State Board of Dentistry panel.
Outside of the office, “Dr. K.,” as she is known to her staff, enjoys tennis and crochet, yes, you read it correctly, crochet. She spends most of her free time with her husband Steve, their two daughters, Sophia and Stella and their adorable pugs, Frankie, Rosie, and Francis. The Kulesa family are avid sports fans and especially enjoy Ohio State football! Dr. Kulesa is passionate about her involvement in the community and is an active participant in a number of Westerville organizations and charities. Most recently, Dr. Kulesa was recognized as one of Sunny95’s “Outstanding Women” in Columbus for her role as a female entrepreneur advocate and her charitable work in the community.
