If you are scheduled for a routine visit, your initial appointment will consist of a comprehensive oral exam, including an oral cancer screening, cleaning, and all necessary radiographs.
However, if you are scheduled for a problem-focused visit, your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. In some cases, treatment may be performed on the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.
Please assist us by providing the following information prior to your first visit
- A list of your current medications
- If you have dental insurance, bring the insurance card with you. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.
IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 during the first visit.
If your previous dentist has taken radiographs, you may request that they forward them to our office. If the radiographs are more than one year old, we may need to update them. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our office.
